An IndiGo flight from North Goa to Delhi made an emergency landing at Manohar International Airport on Tuesday after a technical issue was detected in one of its engines shortly after takeoff.

Flight 6E 2102, an Airbus A321 registered VT-ILZ, left at 9.16am with 229 passengers. Air Traffic Control declared a full emergency around 9.30am. The aircraft landed on Runway 28 at 9.51am and was parked at Stand 6. The emergency was lifted at 10.03am. All passengers disembarked safely.
IndiGo said its pilots followed standard procedures, informed the authorities and turned back. Flightradar24 showed the jet turning around over the coast of southern Maharashtra at about 14,000 feet. The airline said the aircraft is under maintenance checks and offered refreshments and other travel arrangements.
